Legal Counsel β Securities Services
A leading global financial services institution is seeking a qualified lawyer (or equivalent experience) to join its London-based Securities Services legal team. This role provides proactive legal support across custody, clearing, settlement, and liquidity products.
You will negotiate and draft contracts, advise on cross-border and multi-jurisdictional matters, support product development, and manage legal risks. The work involves close collaboration with international colleagues and requires an understanding of regulatory, credit, and tax considerations in financial services.

Candidate Requirements
- The ideal candidate will be a newly qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with either relevant in-house or private practice experience
- Good drafting and negotiation skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are important
- Awareness and understanding of regulatory, credit and tax aspects of financial services business (including cross border issues) β but not to provide detailed support but rather an awareness of how and where issues arise
