The role:

You will provide non-contentious markets regulatory advice, working closely with documentation teams, compliance and the front office to ensure trading activity can proceed in a compliant and practical way. The work includes advising on:

  • EMIR, margin rules (IM/VM), MiFID, trade reporting and regulatory classification
  • CRR, netting and capital-related questions
  • Regulatory issues embedded in master agreements and Terms of Business
  • UK and EU cross-border regulatory questions
  • Regulatory change and implementation initiatives

About you:

  • Qualified lawyer with circa 3–5 PQE (flexible)
  • Experience in financial services or markets regulation
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and problem-solving
  • Pragmatic, confident and willing to challenge where needed
  • From private practice or in-house; UK or EU qualified lawyers
