A regulated financial services firm is hiring a Senior Surveillance Manager to lead and enhance its market surveillance framework. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the firm's trade and communications surveillance framework across asset classes.
- Design, maintain, and enhance surveillance scenarios, alerts, and typologies in line with regulatory expectations.
- Conduct and oversee investigations into potential market abuse, escalation, and regulatory reporting as required.
- Monitor regulatory developments relating to Market Abuse Regulation (MAR) and market conduct, ensuring timely implementation.
- Produce clear MI and reporting for senior management, risk committees, and regulators.
- Act as a subject matter expert, advising front office, compliance, and risk stakeholders on market conduct matters.
- Support audits, regulatory reviews, and control assurance activity.
