Derivatives & Trading Lawyer – Digital Assets | London | In-house
Danos Group is partnering with a leading global quantitative investment manager to hire a Derivatives & Trading Lawyer into its London legal team. The business is growing fast and trading volumes are rising sharply across the firm.
The role
You’ll support the firm’s derivatives and digital asset trading, working closely with Trading, Treasury, Operations, Risk and Compliance. You’ll:
- Draft and negotiate ISDAs, collateral, prime brokerage, clearing, exchange access and custody documentation
- Advise on OTC and exchange-traded transactions, including crypto derivatives and tokenised products
- Assess the risks around custody, asset segregation, settlement and counterparty insolvency
- Build templates and negotiation playbooks as the business scales
About you
- A qualified lawyer who trained at a law firm, with around 5 years’ PQE (flexible either side)
- A strong grounding in traditional finance derivatives, gained on the sell-side or buy-side
- Hands‑on ISDA and collateral negotiation experience
- Exposure to crypto, blockchain or tokenisation is highly valued but not essential. Candidates currently at a crypto exchange will be considered.
- Commercial and hands‑on, with the ability to manage a high volume of competing matters
