A leading global bank with a top-tier Corporate & Institutional Banking franchise is seeking a Vice President to join their Prime Services & Solutions (PS&S) practice within the Derivatives Legal platform. This is a high-visibility role advising Global Markets on prime services, FX prime brokerage, derivatives clearing, and securities lending.
The Role
- You'll provide specialist legal and regulatory advice to the PS&S business, with a particular focus on the clearing of OTC and commodities underliers for corporate clients.
- You'll draft and negotiate English law derivatives clearing agreements, collateral structures and guarantees, represent Legal at internal committees (TAC/NAC), manage legal projects, and mentor junior team members.
What We're Looking For
- English law qualified lawyer (or equivalent regulatory professional qualification)
- Expert knowledge of PS&S, including OTC and exchange-traded cleared derivatives
- Strong understanding and use of FIA agreements as well knowledge of the rule books around netting
- Experience of commodities would be advantageous and is desired but those without it will still be considered
