Working with a global financial services firm seeking a Compliance Director to join their London team. This is a broad generalist compliance role, ideal for someone with experience within the insurance or ratings agency sector. The position is offered on a 14-month contract, supports hybrid working, and pays circa £110,000 pro rata.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide compliance advisory support to senior leadership on regulatory requirements, business initiatives, and new products and services.
  • Oversee the compliance monitoring programme, ensuring key compliance risks are identified, assessed, and appropriately managed.
  • Prepare and deliver compliance reporting and management information to the Board, senior management, and regulators.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for regulators, supporting inspections, meetings, and regulatory submissions.
  • Maintain and enhance compliance policies, procedures, and training programmes while managing and developing a direct report.
