A leading global insurer is seeking a Wordings Lawyer to join its international legal team. The role focuses on drafting and reviewing policy wordings and endorsements, supporting coverage questions, and contributing to product development across multi-line portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal support on policy wordings, endorsements, and clauses, assisting underwriters with coverage interpretation and ensuring wordings remain accurate and up to date across the business.
• Draft and review insurance agreements and key commercial documents, manage bespoke wording requests, and engage with brokers, clients, and internal stakeholders as needed.
• Contribute to regulatory and governance initiatives, monitor market and claims developments, and advise on regulatory changes impacting the business.
• Work closely with Claims, Compliance, Operations, and other teams to support wording improvements and maintain high-quality documentation.

Skills & Experience

• Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales or equivalent jurisdiction).
• Experience drafting and interpreting insurance policy wordings.
• Knowledge of multi-line commercial insurance desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and drafting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaborative working skills.
