Danos Group have been mandated on an excellent opportunity for a Funds Legal Counsel to join our alternative investment management client’s London team. This will be interim position for an initial 6 month period, with potential scope for an additional 6 months thereafter. Reporting into the General Counsel, the successful candidate’s coverage will be broad and will be responsible for advising on a wide range of fund products including UCITS and funds domiciled in the UK, Luxembourg and Ireland.

Advisory work covering complex transactions the funds enter into will be required, with strong AIFMD knowledge being essential.

Your Profile:

• Experienced funds lawyer, in house experience would be advantageous.
• Experience in advising funds on complex transactions
• Knowledge of UCITS and AIFMD.
• Strong knowledge of key regulations attributable to funds and asset managers including AIFMD, MiFID II, SFDR and SDR.
