Head of Compliance & MLRO (London Area)

Currently recruiting on behalf of a growing trading platform, who are looking to replace their long standing SMF16/17 following their decision to leave the business. You should have previously held an FCA regulated role, and have had cross asset experience within a trading environment. Ideally the business are looking to further develop their offering, and so you should have had experience of guiding a business through an authorisation process with the FCA, preferably with a digital assets focus. This is an opportunity to join an ambitious firm with the backing of much larger business.

Key Experience

• Previously held a regulated position, with the preference being SMF17
• Good understanding of the regulatory standards and practices across AML
• Cross asset class knowledge, specifically within FICC markets
• Experience of institutional onboarding
• Knowledge of transaction monitoring and suspicious activity reports
• Previous experience developing an AML framework
• The desire to take on a hands on role with minimal support
