Employment Lawyer

Hybrid - London based
A global financial services business is looking to hire an employment lawyer into its London office. This is a newly created role supporting the organisation's international operations, offering strong exposure to cross-border work and senior stakeholders.
Role Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day advice on UK employment law matters
- Support on the full employee lifecycle, including hiring, performance issues, and exits
- Work closely with HR and business teams to provide practical guidance
- Assist with employment policies and internal processes
- Coordinate with external legal advisers across Europe where needed
- Support on disputes, investigations, and other employment-related issues
Candidate Profile
- Qualified lawyer with at least 3 years PQE
- Background in employment law from private practice or in-house
- Experience in a commercial or corporate environment preferred
- Strong communication skills and a practical, business-focused approach
- Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced setting
Team & Structure
- Based in London as part of a small legal team
- Working closely with international colleagues, including senior legal leadership
- Regular interaction with HR and business stakeholders
