Group Deputy Company Secretary Location: Hybrid (UK-based with offices in London, Kent and Somerset)

We are partnering with a leading, next-generation wealth management group to appoint a Group Deputy Company Secretary. This is a broad, high-impact role supporting a complex, multi-entity business, including FCA-regulated firms, at an exciting stage of growth. Reporting to the Group General Counsel, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality corporate governance and company secretarial support across the Group.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing statutory compliance (Companies House, registers, filings)
- Supporting Board and Committee processes
- Ensuring adherence to UK governance standards and regulatory requirements
- Supporting governance within FCA-regulated entities
- Assisting with SMCR-related processes
- Contributing to strategic projects (including restructurings and policy development)
- Acting as Secretary to the Group’s charitable foundation
About you:
- Proven company secretarial or governance experience
- Strong knowledge of the Companies Act 2006 and UK governance frameworks
- Experience in a regulated (ideally FCA) environment
- Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills
- CGI/ICSA qualification (or working towards) desirable
