A leading professional services firm has launched a UK Regulatory Consulting practice and is seeking a Regulatory Consultant to join the team. This is a rare opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing practice where your input will directly shape the direction and success of the business.

The Role: You’ll support a wide range of regulatory projects across financial services, helping clients navigate complex FCA requirements and strengthen their compliance frameworks. The role offers a mix of advisory, assurance, and project delivery work, alongside opportunities to contribute to the team’s development. Clients span across asset management, wealth management, banking, brokers, fintech, consumer lending and insurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering regulatory consulting projects and assurance reviews
  • Drafting and maintaining policies, procedures, and compliance monitoring programmes
  • Assisting with FCA authorisations and variations of permissions
  • Conduct regulatory file reviews and health checks
  • Keeping abreast of regulatory developments and providing technical support
  • Contributing towards thought leadership
  • Helping design and deliver client training

About You:

  • 1 - 3 years experience in regulatory consulting is preferred, or the regulator
  • Solid understanding of FCA rules and frameworks
  • Professional qualifications desirable e.g CISI Level 4
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Motivated, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
