Group Deputy Company Secretary Location: Hybrid (UK-based with offices in London, Kent and Somerset)

We are partnering with a leading, next-generation wealth management group to appoint a Group Deputy Company Secretary. This is a broad, high-impact role supporting a complex, multi-entity business, including FCA-regulated firms, at an exciting stage of growth.

Reporting to the Group General Counsel, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality corporate governance and company secretarial support across the Group. Responsibilities include:

  • Managing statutory compliance (Companies House, registers, filings)
  • Supporting Board and Committee processes
  • Ensuring adherence to UK governance standards and regulatory requirements
  • Supporting governance within FCA-regulated entities
  • Assisting with SMCR-related processes
  • Contributing to strategic projects (including restructurings and policy development)
  • Acting as Secretary to the Group’s charitable foundation

About you:

  • Proven company secretarial or governance experience
  • Strong knowledge of the Companies Act 2006 and UK governance frameworks
  • Experience in a regulated (ideally FCA) environment
  • Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills
  • CGI/ICSA qualification (or working towards) desirable
