The Quality Lab Administrator will be responsible for the daily operation of Lab Admin function in relation to all sample management including retain, purchase ordering, sample requests, external testing and sample delivery. Assist in all aspects of supervisory and training requirements within the cell.
Main Responsibilities & KPI’s:
- Maintaining KPI’s within the cell structure
- Booking in process by established SOP’s of all internal and 3rd party products
- Processing resamples requests for additional testing
- Maintenance of Finished goods and Raw Materials retained stores
- Processing purchase orders for consumables and equipment for the Quality Department
- Packing note filing and archiving
- Basic problem solving
- Assisting with continuous improvements and identify possible new improvements
- Anticipate problems and put in place corrective actions
- Assisting in relation to out of specification results and investigations
- Assisting in the introduction and validation of new methods and equipment as required
- Performing Customer Experience checks
- Scoop weight analysis and reporting
- Undertake/Deliver training as required by Nutricia
- Comply with Health and Safety Standards
- Maintenance and writing of new SOP’s
- Deputise for other team members in relation to Sensory analysis, External sample reporting and Booking in process
- Engage, support and assist with departments GLP program
- Maintenance of external cross charge spreadsheets
- Assist with raising maintenance requests for the department
About You:
Education & professional experiences needed:
- English speaking
- Relevant academic qualifications/experience in Pharma or FMCG environment is an advantage
- Capable of working on multiple priorities
- Able to contribute to the benefit of the team
- Adaptable enough to work in an environment that changes / challenges daily
- Ability to work in a fast paced, heavily targeted and measured environment
Technical Skills:
- Accustomed with physical processing of food ingredients, especially dry powder
- Good analytical and technical capabilities
- Presentation skills
- Problem solving skills
- PC literate and comfortable using Microsoft/Outlook/SAP/LIMS and system related software
- Specific to sensory – A good taste palate
