Since 1968, our production facility in Minster, Ohio, has proudly manufactured fresh yogurt. Our mission is to bring health through food to as many people as possible. In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Passing forklift certification and driving a stand-up forklift in either raw material Warehouse or Distribution Cooler
- Working Safely with a high attention to detail and quality
- Computer work including picking product using a warehouse management system and RF scanner
- Unload and load trucks
- Working as a team to achieve challenging production goals
- Working in a fast-paced environment
- Working in a standing position, most of a 12-hr shift
- Wearing a free uniform that includes safety shoes, bump cap, safety glasses, ear plugs, hairnet and beard net
The Material Handler base rate is now 24.62/hr! Night shift employees receive an additional $1.00/hr shift premium. The ideal candidate will have:
- High School diploma or GED (required)
- Open schedule ability, able to work weekends and holidays when scheduled
- Computer Skills
- Strong attention to detail
- High mechanical aptitude
- The ability to perform physical demands of a fast-paced environment
- 12-hour shifts
- Continuous walking or standing
- Repetitive minimal to moderate lifting (50 lbs)
- Working in a cold environment (in distribution cooler)
- Working at heights (in warehouse)
- Openness to learn and share with others
- Doer who takes ownership of our product excellence and their working area
- Empowered individual who proactively pursues improvements in Quality, Safety & Operations
- Previous forklift and warehousing experience are highly desirable
