About The Role
We are seeking a Hygiene Operator to join our Liverpool Quality department. The role involves specialist cleaning responsibilities on a 24/7 shift pattern, replenishment and stock maintenance of consumables, and waste management of the site. The Hygiene Operator supports the Engineering, Facilities, Warehouse and Microbiology departments to maintain a high standard of service for internal and external suppliers and customers.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning tasks aligned with corporate 5P principles, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Housekeeping Practices (GHP) and HACCP standards.
- Replenish and maintain stock of cleaning consumables.
- Manage waste in accordance with site protocols.
- Collaborate with engineering, facilities, warehouse and microbiology teams.
- Work within a 24/7 shift pattern to support continuous operations.
Ideal Candidate
- Understanding of 5P principles and GMP, GHP and HACCP quality standards.
- Existing knowledge of industrial cleaning practices.
- Knowledge of allergen management.
- Strong teamwork and positive 'doer' attitude.
- Highly committed, flexible, and organized.
- Good numeracy and literacy skills.
- Ability to coach and develop others and strong team working skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Basic Food Safety Certificate preferred.
- Ability to follow documented procedures.
