Job Purpose
To support the HSE Manager in delivering world‑class Health, Safety, Environmental, Energy and Sustainability performance across the site, ensuring legal compliance, continuous improvement, employee engagement and alignment with Danone and Alpro standards.
- Key Accountabilities, Deliverables & KPIs
- Lead delivery of key projects.
- Help maintain ISO 14001 management systems and legal compliance registers.
- Support environmental permitting, waste, energy and sustainability compliance requirements.
- Conduct audits, inspections and workplace assessments.
- Develop risk assessments, safe systems of work and operational procedures.
- Lead and support accident, incident and near‑miss investigations.
- Coordinate HSE communications, campaigns and behavioral safety programs.
- Deliver HSE training, inductions and awareness initiatives.
- Monitor KPI performance and prepare management reports.
- Support sustainability, carbon, water, waste and energy reduction initiatives.

Qualifications
- NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational H&S or equivalent (Essential).
- NEBOSH/IEMA Environmental Certificate or equivalent (Essential).
- ISO 45001 Internal Auditor (Desirable).
- ISO 14001 Internal Auditor (Desirable).
- Train the Trainer qualification (Desirable).
