Job Purpose

To support the HSE Manager in delivering world-class Health, Safety, Environmental, Energy and Sustainability performance across the site, ensuring legal compliance, continuous improvement, employee engagement and alignment with Danone and Alpro standards.

Key accountabilities, deliverables & KPIs, impact on business results

  • Lead delivery of key projects.
  • Help maintain ISO 14001 management systems and legal compliance registers.
  • Support environmental permitting, waste, energy and sustainability compliance requirements.
  • Conduct audits, inspections and workplace assessments.
  • Develop risk assessments, safe systems of work and operational procedures.
  • Lead and support accident, incident and near-miss investigations.
  • Coordinate HSE communications, campaigns and behavioral safety programs.
  • Deliver HSE training, inductions and awareness initiatives.
  • Monitor KPI performance and prepare management reports.
  • Support sustainability, carbon, water, waste and energy reduction initiatives.

About You

Qualifications

  • NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational H&S or equivalent (Essential).
  • NEBOSH/IEMA Environmental Certificate or equivalent (Essential).
  • ISO 45001 Internal Auditor (Desirable).
  • ISO 14001 Internal Auditor (Desirable).
  • Train the Trainer qualification (Desirable).
