Role Purpose Business Partner with the Channel & Customer Team to drive sustainable revenue & margin growth. Co-build Joint Business Plans that deliver a “triple win” (needs of consumer, Retailer and Danone), provide actionable-insights and challenge the revenue forecast assumptions to improve accuracy. Support to mitigate risks from plans and influence resource allocation to convert opportunities. Govern the Channel/Customer P&L in-line with internal policy. About you: Joint Business Planning (JBP) Working alongside the Senior Finance Business Partner, act as a strategic partner to National Account Managers (NAMs), providing investment recommendations, challenging the ROI and supporting the preparation of JBPs. Administer and manage trade terms templates, ensuring alignment with internal policies. Track JBP performance against signed agreements, providing clear variance analysis and insights. Approve out of guidelines investment requests according the to the Chart of Authority Trade Spend Governance Validate and approve promotions and trade spend in line with approved guidelines. Monitor Blue Planner (TPM) to ensure forecast and actual data integrity, and that accruals are accurate and timely. Co-lead monthly Trade Spend (TS) reviews with key customers to ensure compliance and timely release/top-up of accruals. Ensure compliance of all Danone Revenue Controls in partnership with DBS. Respond to quarterly internal TS audits initiated by DBS. Customer Performance Analysis Deliver clear, actionable insights on customer performance (actuals vs forecast), highlighting key trends and changes. Conduct root cause analysis of pricing claims and implement actions to reduce future claims. Perform regular reviews of Commercial invoices to match and in-disputed invoices to ensure provisions are adequate and issues are resolved timely. Monitor the evolution of KPIs over time to ensure processes are in control, enabling accurate accrual management, challenge or escalate where necessary Month-End & Forecasting Manage and post month-end journals related to trade spend and promotional activity. Ensure all Trade Terms (TT) and promotions are accurately actualised in Blue Planner. Lead the monthly GPS (IBP) customer cash-up process, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Partner with Account Teams to understand and animate key changes in the forecast (volume, Net Sales and profit) and provide clarity of the assumptions used.
