The function of a DSE Operator is to oversee the arrangement of the packaging process of the product for the downstream equipment and maintain the production process so planned work continues in a safe and productive manner. You will be required to monitor the activity of the packing lines and palletiser robots and record deviations. Ensure all products packed adhere to specification. You will be required to record production statistics, monitor equipment operation, and record accurate information on a daily basis.
About You
You must have the ability to work on your own initiative, have strong communication skills, be able to prioritise, solve technical and complex problems and be able to work nights and weekends.
The following qualifications/skills are required:
- GCSE standard or equivalent
- Be able to communicate in written and verbal English
- Experience in working in food manufacturing environment
- Have an awareness of food allergen and basic food hygiene
- Working knowledge of IT systems such as MS Office
Desirable
- FLT licence
- HACCP trained
- COSHH trained
- Conversant with CIP (Clean In Place) processes
