As the UK’s leading medical nutrition provider, Nutricia is known for providing expert care and high-quality enteral support to patients through our unique portfolio of nutritional products. The Clinical Practice Manager (CPM) is responsible for leading a team of field-based enteral care nurses, providing local first line nurse leadership to ensure that a high-quality service is provided to all customers and to patients. Managing the team both operationally and clinically, the CPM ensures the team provide Best Care and reduce clinical incidents to zero. The CPM is responsible for coaching & developing the team, setting them up for success, ensuring they are confident and competent to provide excellent enteral nursing services in line with local contractual requirements.
Key Activities include:
- Day-to-day management and development of a field-based team of 6 Nurses
- Conduct regular training, field visits and other operational requirements, contributing to a culture of excellent care in a "zero incident" environment
- Plan resource appropriately, including recruitment and forward planning to cover absences
- Be the day-to-day interface with key stakeholders, develop relationships, manage the Nursing Service Level Agreements, report and present performance and KPIs both externally to customers and internally within the organisation
- Take the lead in the development of local commercially relevant projects as agreed with the Regional Nursing Manager
This role manages our nurse team in Bristol and so you will need to live in or within commuting distance of the Bristol area. A driving licence is also required.
About You
We would like you to demonstrate your following key skills:
- Registration as Nurse NMC Level 1 is essential
- A background in nursing management and experience of coaching and mentoring is preferred
- Some understanding of the NHS and strategy
- Highly organised with good time management and prioritising skills; achieves deadlines
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Attention to detail, and ability to analyse data and produce accurate reporting
