Role Purpose
This role sits within the Cash and Finance Transformation (FP&A) team as part of the wider CBU Finance team.
- Support the delivery of Finance Transformation initiatives across systems, processes, and ways of working.
- Provide support across the Cash agenda, helping improve cash visibility, control, and performance.
- Work with stakeholders across Finance and the wider business to deliver practical and sustainable change.
Key Activities
- Transformation
- Support delivery of transformation initiatives across Finance, including process improvement, system enhancements, and standardisation.
- Help identify opportunities to simplify, automate and improve finance processes.
- Support implementation of new tools, reporting solutions, or ways of working.
- Assist in documenting processes, controls, and best practices.
- Provide support on project management activities (tracking actions, timelines, and risks).
- Work with stakeholders to ensure adoption of new processes and solutions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement culture within the team.
- Cash
- Support analysis and reporting of key cash metrics (e.g. working capital, cash flow drivers).
- Assist in identifying risks and opportunities impacting cash performance.
- Support forecasting and tracking of cash-related KPIs.
- Work with stakeholders to improve transparency and understanding of cash levers.
- Contribute to initiatives that improve cash collection, accuracy, and governance.
- General
- Provide analytical support and insights to support decision making.
- Collaborate with different teams across Finance and the business.
- Support ad hoc analysis, project work, and business priorities as required.
About You
We would like you to demonstrate the following key skills:
- Accounting and financial experience.
- Strong analytical mindset with good attention to detail.
- Interest in Finance transformation, systems, or process improvement.
- Good Excel skills; exposure to Power BI or similar tools is beneficial.
- Ability to work across multiple tasks and priorities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive and solution-oriented approach.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
- Team player, able to collaborate and share ideas effectively.
