About The Job
Our Enteral Nurses are registered nurses across the UK who provide reassurance and support for people who tube feed at home. They ensure that everyone who tube feeds or cares for someone who does can do so safely and independently at home and are key to building strong partnership relationships with our Healthcare Customers. This role involves working with Adult & Paediatric patients in various areas of Buckinghamshire. You will need to be living in or able to relocate to the area.
Our nurses provide training to support safe and speedy hospital discharges, regular reviews and trouble‑shooting advice to help prevent unnecessary hospital stays, including tube changes within Care and Residential Homes within the Community. Support with Flocare Infinity 2 and 3 pumps, equipment questions and enteral feeding tube queries. Training to professional care agencies, healthcare community teams, schools, respite centres, etc.
Key Activities
- Provision of dedicated enteral feeding care to patients ready to be discharged from the acute and the patients within their own homes in the community.
- Adhere to the Nursing and Midwifery Council code of conduct and Professional Practice with a key focus on record keeping.
- Maintain high level of clinical competence and knowledge and be confident and competent in practises that are current, and evidence based.
- Act as an ambassador for Nutricia both internally and externally, demonstrating key role model behaviours and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Deliver educational support and training, in a variety of settings to patients, families, carers and healthcare professionals to keep them up to date with the latest safe practice in tube feeding.
- To develop, with training and support the ability to change skin level devices (buttons), balloon gastrostomy tubes, nasogastric tubes, as appropriate.
Stakeholders: There will be interaction with numerous key stakeholders, both internal and external. These include field-based colleagues, Clinical Practice Managers, Heads of Service, Clinical Learning & Development team, Contract Account Managers, Customers, Dietitians and Specialised Nutrition Nurses.

To be considered for this role
You’ll need to be a Registered Nurse (RGN, RSCN or RNLD), with at least 12 months’ experience. Be living in the area. Full UK Driving License. We’ll provide a competitive salary, with a company car and fuel card. We’ll also provide a lunch allowance when you’re in the field.
