Overview

We're working with a civils and utilities contractor delivering works across London and the South East. They're looking for a SHEQ Advisor to support operational teams and ensure compliance across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide SHEQ support across civils and utilities projects (streetworks, reinstatement, infrastructure)
  • Carry out site inspections, audits and incident investigations
  • Ensure compliance with HSE legislation, company procedures and client standards
  • Support site teams with RAMS, permits and safe systems of work
  • Deliver toolbox talks and promote a positive safety culture
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders on SHEQ matters
  • Monitor performance and produce reports on KPIs and trends

Requirements

  • Experience in SHEQ / HSEQ role within civils, utilities or infrastructure
  • Good knowledge of streetworks, utilities or highways environments
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence site teams
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable

  • NRSWA / Streetworks knowledge
  • Experience working on frameworks or for Tier 1 contractors
  • ISO standards awareness (9001, 14001, 45001)
