An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Setting Out Engineer to join a major rail infrastructure project in West Yorkshire. This is your chance to be part of a fast-paced, technically challenging scheme delivering critical works within one of the UK’s most demanding infrastructure environments. We are looking for a driven individual with strong rail and/or highways experience who thrives under pressure, enjoys problem solving on live projects, and can confidently take ownership of engineering duties on site.

This role offers long-term work, a strong pipeline of future projects, and the opportunity to work alongside one of the UK’s most respected civil engineering and infrastructure delivery teams — known for delivering complex earthworks, infrastructure, rail, highways, and major civil engineering projects nationwide.

THE ROLE

You will play a key role in the successful delivery of rail infrastructure works, supporting the site team with accurate setting out, technical support, quality assurance, and day-to-day engineering responsibilities. Duties will include:

  • Setting out for infrastructure, drainage, earthworks, and other related tasks.
