The Position
- Manage projects from pre‑construction through to completion and handover
- Lead project teams, site managers, engineers and subcontractors
- Monitor project performance against programme and commercial objectives
- Manage procurement activities and subcontractor packages
- Attend client, consultant and site progress meetings
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
- Oversee commissioning, snagging and project close‑out activities
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety and quality procedures
- Support commercial teams with variations and change management
- Produce regular project reports for senior management
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience as a Mechanical Contract Manager within the Building Services sector
- Strong technical understanding of HVAC, pipework and associated mechanical systems
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent organisational and leadership capabilities
- Strong client‑facing and stakeholder management skills
- Commercial awareness and experience managing project performance
- A proactive and solutions‑driven approach to project delivery
