Danny Sullivan Group is currently supporting a key civil engineering client in the appointment of an experienced SHEQ Advisor to support the delivery of infrastructure and utilities projects across the Greater Manchester region. This is a site-focused role, working closely with operational teams to ensure high standards of health, safety, environmental and quality compliance are consistently achieved across live projects.

As a SHEQ Advisor, you will play a critical role in driving compliance, improving standards, and embedding a positive SHEQ culture across multiple workstreams. You will act as a key interface between site teams, management, clients and the supply chain to ensure all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with regulatory and company requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day SHEQ support and guidance to site teams across multiple civil engineering projects.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits and assurance checks to ensure compliance with company procedures and relevant legislation.
  • Carry out internal audits in line with ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
  • Support the implementation and ongoing development of the HSQE Management System.
  • Assist in the preparation, review and implementation of RAMS, ITPs and quality documentation.
  • Identify non-conformances, unsafe practices and areas for improvement.
