Job Opportunity: Structural Steel Working Foreman – Steel Projects (Industrial Site – Edmonton) Location: Edmonton Project Type: Industrial Steelwork We’re looking for an experienced Working Foreman to lead and deliver steelwork packages on a major industrial site in Edmonton. This is a hands-on supervisory role overseeing structural and secondary steel installations, managing a small team on site, and ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to spec. 🔩 Key Responsibilities: * Lead and work alongside site teams on steel erection and fixings. * Coordinate with site management, crane/lifting teams, and other trades. * Ensure compliance with health & safety standards (RAMS, permits, etc.). * Read and interpret steelwork drawings and fabrication details. * Carry out toolbox talks and site briefings. * Maintain quality control and progress reporting. 🛠️ Requirements: * Proven experience as a Working Foreman on steel or structural projects. * CSCS (Gold or Black preferred). * SSSTS or SMSTS. * Strong steelwork knowledge (primary & secondary). * Ability to manage labour and liaise with site managers. * IPAF & Crane Supervisor (preferred, not essential). 📍 Why Join Us? * Long-term industrial project with solid pipeline of work. * Great team environment with genuine support on site. * Weekly pay, fair rates, and prompt communication
