Site Agent - Merseyrail Project

Duration: 4-6 weeks
Role: Site Agent
Working: Monday-Friday, daily site attendance
We are currently looking for an experienced Site Agent to support a major rail infrastructure project in the Merseyside area.
This is an excellent short-term opportunity for an experienced Agent with a strong background in rail, civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
The role will involve:
- Managing day-to-day site operations and ensuring works are delivered safely and efficiently.
- Supervising site teams, subcontractors and supply chain.
- Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with the programme, quality requirements and relevant RAMS.
- Coordinating with the wider project management team and stakeholders.
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety, quality and environmental compliance.
- Providing strong leadership and maintaining effective communication across site.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Agent / Site Manager within civil engineering, rail or infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of site management and delivery.
- Excellent understanding of health & safety and quality requirements.
- Relevant site qualifications, ideally including SMSTS.
- Rail experience would be highly advantageous.
- Must be locally based and able to commute to site daily.
- Available to start in November 2026.
Duration: Approximately 4-6 weeks, with the potential for further opportunities depending on project requirements.
