Water Operative - Long-Term Opportunity in Peterborough
Danny Sullivan Group is currently recruiting for experienced Water Operatives to support long-term opportunities in Peterborough. These positions offer an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work within the water industry, with recruitment taking place throughout the year.
We are looking to build a strong pool of skilled operatives to support ongoing and upcoming projects in the Peterborough area.
Your Role as a Water Operative:
- Carry out water industry maintenance and infrastructure works
- Complete joint overbanding
- Carry out waterproofing works
- Assist with resealing hatches
- Work safely in and around water infrastructure and construction environments
- Follow site instructions, risk assessments and health & safety procedures at all times
- Work safely around other operatives, plant and equipment
- Maintain clean, safe and organised working areas
- Report hazards, defects and unsafe conditions immediately
- Support site teams to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
What We're Looking For as a Water Operative:
- EUSR Water Hygiene - essential
- Full UK Driving Licence - essential
- Confined Spaces - Medium Risk - essential
- Valid CSCS Card - essential
- Previous experience in:
- Joint overbanding
- Waterproofing
- Resealing hatches
- Ideally, a minimum of 2 years' relevant experience within the water industry
- Reliable, hardworking and safety-focused attitude
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Willingness to follow site procedures and work safely at all times
Experience & Development:
Candidates with a minimum of 2 years' relevant water industry experience are preferred.
However, candidates with less experience will also be considered where they can demonstrate the right practical skills, attitude and willingness to learn. Less experienced operatives may have the opportunity to work alongside experienced team members for additional support, training and development.

- Identification, right-to-work documentation and an email address may be required prior to commencement
