Danny Sullivan Group are currently looking for a competent and experienced Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) to join our site delivery team on a major power generation / waste-to-energy facility in Edmonton, North London. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating, reviewing, and controlling all temporary works activities on site, ensuring they are planned, designed, constructed, and dismantled safely and in accordance with legal and project requirements. This is a key role interfacing between engineering, construction, and subcontractor teams to maintain compliance and assurance throughout the temporary works process. Responsibilities: Coordinate and manage all temporary works activities across the site, including scaffolds, formwork, falsework, access platforms, hoardings, and lifting structures. Ensure all temporary works are designed, checked, and approved by competent designers in line with BS 5975 and project standards. Maintain the Temporary Works Register and associated documentation. Liaise closely with Permanent Works Designers, Site Managers, Supervisors, and Subcontractors to plan and sequence temporary works safely. Carry out regular site inspections to verify compliance with approved designs and permits. Ensure that any changes or modifications to temporary works are properly controlled and reapproved where necessary. Provide technical support and guidance to the construction team regarding temporary works implementation. Lead coordination meetings and briefings related to temporary works. Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring all works are carried out to the highest standards of health and safety. Requirements: Proven experience as a Temporary Works Coordinator on large industrial, energy, or infrastructure projects. Experience in the power generation or waste-to-energy sector is highly desirable. Recognised Temporary Works Coordinator qualification (CITB or equivalent). Relevant engineering or construction background (civil, structural, or mechanical discipline preferred). Strong knowledge of BS 5975, CDM Regulations, and relevant safety legislation. Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders in a live, complex project environment.
