We are recruiting for an experienced Site Foreman to join one of Ireland and the UK's most respected construction contractors on a major long-term project at Gatwick Airport. Our client is a leading international building contractor with a reputation for delivering complex, high-value projects across the aviation, commercial, pharmaceutical, healthcare, data centre, and infrastructure sectors. Operating for over a century, they have built a strong track record for quality, safety, innovation, and repeat business with some of the world's most recognised organisations.

Due to continued growth and a substantial pipeline of secured work, they are seeking a hands-on Site Foreman to support site operations and ensure the safe, efficient delivery of works within a live airport environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate daily site activities.
  • Manage subcontractors and direct labour on site.
  • Ensure works are completed safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards.
  • Conduct site inspections and monitor compliance with health & safety procedures.
  • Liaise with Site Managers, Project Managers, and client representatives.
  • Assist with planning and sequencing of works to minimise disruption within a live operational environment.
  • Maintain accurate site records and reporting.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Site Foreman on large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations and site management procedures.
  • Experience managing multiple trades and subcontractors.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work within demanding programmes and live operational environments.
  • Aviation, infrastructure, commercial, or major project experience would be advantageous.
  • SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications preferred.
