Danny Sullivan Group are currently recruiting for a Site Engineer on behalf of one of our key civil engineering clients delivering infrastructure works at Gatwick Airport. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a live aviation environment on major civil engineering and infrastructure packages.

The Role

The Site Engineer will support the delivery team with setting out, quality assurance, site supervision and technical coordination across ongoing works. You will work closely with the Project Manager, General Foreman and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely, accurately and in line with programme requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Setting out and surveying works on site
  • Producing and reviewing QA documentation
  • Ensuring works are delivered to specification and design requirements
  • Liaising with subcontractors and site teams
  • Managing permits and site records where required
  • Supporting health & safety compliance across site activities
  • Assisting with progress reporting and site coordination
  • Reviewing drawings and resolving technical issues on site

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Site Engineer within civil engineering or infrastructure
  • Experience on aviation, highways, utilities or major infrastructure projects preferred
  • Competent with surveying equipment and setting out
  • Strong understanding of QA processes and site documentation
  • CSCS Card
  • SMSTS or SSSTS beneficial
  • Full UK Driving Licence
