STEEL FIXER – UB9 6JL Location: UB9 6JL Start Date: ASAP Hours: 07:30–17:30 Rate: £24.00 per hour PAYE We are currently recruiting for an experienced Steel Fixer to join a construction project in UB9 6JL. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Steel Fixer looking for an immediate start, competitive PAYE rates and consistent hours on site. Your Role as a Steel Fixer * Carry out steel fixing works safely and efficiently on site * Install and secure reinforcement steel in accordance with construction drawings and specifications * Read and work from technical drawings to ensure reinforcement is installed correctly * Cut, bend, position and tie reinforcement steel as required * Assemble reinforcement cages and steel structures to the required specification * Ensure reinforcement is correctly positioned, spaced and secured * Work closely with Groundworkers, Site Supervisors and other trades * Follow site instructions, RAMS and health & safety procedures * Maintain safe working practices at all times * Keep work areas clean, safe and organised * Report any issues, hazards or defects to the Site Supervisor * Ensure all steel fixing works are completed to the required quality and specification What We're Looking For as a Steel Fixer * Valid CSCS Blue Card * Proven experience working as a Steel Fixer * Ability to read and work from technical drawings Pay & Benefits * £24.00 per hour PAYE * Weekly pay * Immediate start available * Working hours: 07:30–17:30 * Work based in UB9 6JL * Consistent site hours * Opportunity to work on a busy construction project * Potential for further opportunities following successful completion of the contract Why Apply?
