We are currently seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join a leading Tier One contractor delivering works on the prestigious Sizewell C nuclear power project. This is a high-profile, long-term opportunity on one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure projects, offering excellent stability and career progression.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of works on site, ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, quality, and productivity are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Day-to-day supervision of site activities, operatives, and subcontractors
  • Ensure all works are delivered in full compliance with nuclear, client, and company HSEQ standards
  • Lead by example in promoting a strong safety-first culture
  • Conduct toolbox talks, briefings, and site inductions
  • Review RAMS and ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved documentation
  • Coordinate labour, plant, and materials to maintain programme milestones
  • Liaise closely with site management, engineers, and safety teams
  • Identify and resolve site issues proactively, escalating where required
  • Maintain accurate site records, reports, and permits
  • Ensure quality standards are met and works are completed right first time
Essential Requirements
  • Valid Gold CSCS Card (Supervisor level) – essential
  • Safety Critical Medical – in date and essential
  • Proven experience as a Site Supervisor on large-scale civil engineering or infrastructure projects
  • Previous experience working on major projects or regulated environments (nuclear, power, rail, highways, oil & gas advantageous)
  • Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation and best practice
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a highly regulated environment
Desirable
  • SSSTS or SMSTS
  • Experience working with Tier One contractors
  • Familiarity with nuclear site protocols and permit systems
  • First Aid at Work
