My client is seeking an experienced OHL Site Manager for a Project in the Norwich area. This is a fantastic opportunity to take full responsibility for delivering a high-profile power project while ensuring the highest standards of safety, sustainability, environmental impact, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver project on time while maintaining quality and safety standards.
  2. Foster a collaborative working environment with clients, internal teams, and other stakeholders.
  3. Proactively manage client relationships and expectations throughout project delivery.
  4. Lead on Zero Harm initiatives and drive continuous improvement in SHEQ standards.
  5. Conduct safety tours and ensure project safety monitoring is in place.
  6. Drive a high-performance team culture through strong leadership and people development.

About You:

  1. Proven management experience in Power Transmission & Distribution.
  2. Experience delivering Overhead Line, Cabling, or Substation schemes up to 400kV.
  3. Strong people management and leadership skills.
  4. Track record in tendering and managing projects, including working with subcontractors.
  5. Commercially aware with a solid understanding of budgeting and financial control.
  6. Strong relationship management skills and ability to balance multiple interests.
  7. Able to work in fast-paced, complex environments and lead teams towards solutions.

Specific Details/Requirements:

  1. 9-month contract (Potentially 12 months)
  2. Substation/OHL (T&D) experience required
  3. Gantry build experience preferred
  4. Civils: 4 Tower foundations
  5. 15 in the team at peak including subbies.
  6. Accommodation provided
  7. HSC 47 Cat & Genny
  8. Familiarity with System Request (SR) procedures, and outages.
  9. CSCS
  10. EUSR
