SECTION ENGINEER – MAJOR AIRPORT INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT (MANCHESTER REGION)\\n\\nA leading UK infrastructure and civil engineering contractor is seeking a Section Engineer to support delivery of a major airport expansion project located in the Manchester region.\\n\\nThe project consists of multiple new buildings, significant infrastructure works, highways, drainage, and enabling works, forming part of a large-scale west-side airport development. This is a long-term role on a technically challenging scheme.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\n * \\n\\n Managing a defined section of works from start to completion\\n\\n * \\n\\n Technical leadership of Site Engineers and supervision teams\\n\\n * \\n\\n Preparation and review of RAMS, ITPs, and work packages\\n\\n * \\n\\n Short-term planning and coordination of labour and subcontractors\\n\\n * \\n\\n Ensuring quality, safety, and programme targets are achieved\\n\\n * \\n\\n Liaising with site management and commercial teams\\n\\nCandidate Requirements\\n\\n * \\n\\n Extensive experience in general civils and infrastructure works\\n\\n * \\n\\n Previous experience in a Section Engineer role on major schemes\\n\\n * \\n\\n Strong technical knowledge of highways, drainage, and structures\\n\\n * \\n\\n Good organisational and leadership skills\\n\\n * \\n\\n Consistent employment history on comparable large-scale projects\\n\\nPackage\\n\\n * \\n\\n PAYE day rate\\n\\n * \\n\\n Long-term, secure workload on a major regional development\\n\\n * \\n\\n Opportunity to be involved in a multi-year programme
