CSCS Van Driver - £14.47 per hour PAYE Long-Term Opportunity in Portishead Danny Sullivan Group is currently recruiting for an experienced CSCS Van Driver to join a major rail line restoration project in Portishead. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a significant rail infrastructure project, supporting the restoration and development of the railway line and associated construction works. Working Pattern Monday to Friday - Day shifts Additional hours and weekend work may be available depending on project requirements. Pay Rates - PAYE £14.47 per hour PAYE Weekly pay Your Role as a CSCS Van Driver As a Van Driver, you will play an important role in supporting the site team by safely transporting materials, equipment and personnel around the project. Your responsibilities will include: Safely drive company/site vehicles and vans around the project Transport materials, tools and equipment to and from site locations Assist with deliveries and collections as required Load and unload materials safely Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects Ensure vehicles are kept clean, tidy and in good working condition Follow site traffic management plans and designated routes Work safely around plant, machinery, HGVs and other site vehicles Assist the wider site team when required Maintain clear communication with site supervisors and other workers Follow all site, health & safety and railway procedures at all times Report hazards, unsafe conditions and vehicle issues immediately What We're Looking For To be considered for this role, you should have: A valid CSCS card A valid UK driving licence suitable for the vehicle being driven, Category B Previous experience working as a Van Driver on a construction, civil engineering or infrastructure site Experience working on or around construction sites A good understanding of site health & safety procedures Good knowledge of vehicle and pedestrian safety Strong communication skills A reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude The ability to work effectively as part of a busy site team Previous experience working on rail or infrastructure projects is advantageous Pay & Benefits £14.47 per hour PAYE Weekly pay - reliable and on time Long-term, ongoing work Work on a major rail infrastructure project Opportunity to gain valuable experience within the rail and construction sectors Consistent work in the Portishead area Why Apply?
