We're currently representing a well-established and highly respected Building Services contractor that is looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Contract Manager to support its continued growth across the East Midlands. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality M&E projects across the commercial, industrial, healthcare and education sectors, this business has built a loyal client base and continues to secure repeat work across the region.

The Opportunity

This is a key appointment within the business and will suit a Mechanical Contract Manager who enjoys taking ownership of projects, managing client relationships and driving successful project delivery. You will work closely with operational and commercial teams, overseeing projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing multiple mechanical projects across various sectors
  • Leading project delivery teams and coordinating subcontractors
  • Maintaining programme, quality and commercial objectives
  • Building and developing client and consultant relationships
  • Managing procurement and labour resources
  • Monitoring project performance and identifying potential risks
  • Overseeing commissioning, snagging and project handover activities
  • Ensuring health, safety and compliance standards are maintained throughout

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Contract Manager
  • Strong technical understanding of HVAC, pipework and mechanical systems
  • Previous experience delivering projects for an M&E contractor
  • Commercially aware with strong organisational skills
  • Confident managing clients, site teams and subcontractors
  • Able to drive projects through to successful completion
