An established M&E Contractor is seeking an experienced Technical Services Manager with a strong mechanical bias to support the delivery of a major project based in Newmarket. This position will play a key role in managing the technical delivery of mechanical building services packages from design coordination through to commissioning and handover, ensuring all works are delivered in line with programme, specification and client expectations.
Working closely with project teams, consultants and subcontractors, the successful candidate will oversee technical coordination, design management and installation compliance across the full project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Manage technical delivery of mechanical building services packages
- Coordinate design, subcontractor and consultant information
- Review drawings, specifications and technical submissions
- Support installation teams through technical problem solving and coordination
- Manage commissioning activities and system handovers
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, regulations and quality standards
- Attend design and coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders
- Support programme delivery through proactive technical management
- Proven experience operating as a Technical Services Manager within the M&E / Building Services sector
- Strong mechanical background across commercial or large-scale construction projects
- Excellent understanding of HVAC, public health and mechanical building services systems
- Experience managing technical coordination, commissioning and project delivery
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
