Job Title: Managing Quantity Surveyor
Location: Southwark, London
Duration: 4 months (potentially extended for the right candidate)
Salary: Day rate £420 – £450 per day

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Managing Quantity Surveyor to join our team, responsible for managing commercial and contractual aspects of projects under the TfL STIC Framework. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing change events, Early Warning Notices (EWNs), and the overall tendering process.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage and assess change events and Early Warning Notices (EWNs) for various projects.
2. Oversee the tendering process, ensuring compliance with project requirements and commercial terms.
3. Manage quantities and documentation for the TfL STIC Framework.
4. Collaborate with project teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
5. Support in managing commercial teams and assist in commercial decision-making.
6. Work with subcontractors and manage their performance throughout the project lifecycle.
7. Maintain accurate cost value reconciliations (CVRs) and ensure regular reporting.

Preferred Experience:

1. Experience managing a commercial team.
2. Strong understanding and experience with NEC4 Option A contracts.
3. Knowledge and experience in the self-delivery of projects.
4. Expertise in subcontract management and working with external suppliers.
5. Familiarity with framework-based projects.
6. Experience in managing CVRs and other financial documentation.
