We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to join a well-established MEP contractor delivering high-quality mechanical building services projects across London. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Site Manager looking for a long-term position with a growing business and the opportunity to work on major commercial and construction projects.
As Mechanical Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and delivery of mechanical works on site, ensuring projects are completed safely, on programme and to the required quality standards. You will work closely with Project Managers, engineers, subcontractors, consultants and main contractors to coordinate mechanical installation activities and ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day mechanical installation activities on site.
- Coordinate mechanical subcontractors, engineers and site operatives.
- Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with the project programme.
- Review and implement RAMS, method statements and risk assessments.
- Coordinate mechanical works with electrical, structural and other MEP services.
- Monitor progress, productivity and quality of installation.
- Liaise with main contractors, consultants and client representatives.
- Attend site meetings and provide regular progress updates.
- Identify and resolve technical and construction issues.
About You
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Site Manager or Mechanical Supervisor.
- Strong mechanical building services experience.
- Experience working on commercial, residential, retail or similar construction projects.
- Good knowledge of mechanical installation, including HVAC, pipework and associated building services.
- Experience managing subcontractors and site teams.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
- Strong understanding of RAMS, health & safety and quality requirements.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work effectively with main contractors, consultants and clients.
- SMSTS certification.
