Danny Sullivan Group are currently looking for Earthworks Supervisor role in Howden area.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day earthworks operations
- Manage site operatives, plant, and subcontractors to ensure works are completed safely and efficiently
- Coordinate plant movements and earthmoving activities in live highways environments
- Deliver daily briefings, toolbox talks, and ensure compliance with RAMS and method statements
- Monitor ground conditions and ensure works meet engineering specifications and quality standards
- Liaise with engineers, site management, and subcontractors to resolve site issues and maintain progress
- Ensure all works comply with health, safety, and environmental requirements
Requirements
- Valid CSCS Blue or Gold Card (essential)
- SSSTS or SMSTS (essential)
- Proven previous experience working as an Earthworks Supervisor on highways or major infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of earthworks methodologies, plant operations, and site safety
