We're working with a leading infrastructure contractor to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of energy projects across the region. Projects sit within long-term frameworks and include a range of civils-based works across utilities and infrastructure schemes.
The Role
You will support the commercial management of projects from procurement through to final account, working closely with site teams, Project Managers and clients to ensure strong cost control and contractual compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial Management
- Produce cost and value reporting, forecasts and CVRs
- Prepare applications for payment and manage cash flow
- Monitor costs against budget and support financial control
- Manage subcontractor procurement, measurement and payments
- Place subcontract orders aligned with main contract terms
- Monitor subcontractor performance and manage variations/claims
- Ensure compliance with contractual and internal processes
- Support cost value reconciliation and reporting
- Assist with project close-out and final accounts
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Quantity Surveyor experience within energy or infrastructure, with a strong civils background
- Experience managing subcontractors and commercial processes
- Strong understanding of cost reporting and NEC contracts
- Good communication and organisational skills
Desirable
- Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying
- Experience with COINS or similar systems
- CSCS card
