We’re looking for a capable and experienced Sub Agent to join a busy site team in Havant. This role is ideal for someone who can hit the ground running and take ownership of key site operations.
You’ll be responsible for managing sections of work, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard. A strong technical background is essential, particularly with experience in trial holes and ground investigation works.
Key responsibilities:
- Overseeing day-to-day site activities
- Managing subcontractors and site engineers
- Ensuring health & safety compliance at all times
- Producing and reviewing RAMS, ITPs, and permits
- Coordinating and supervising trial holes and associated works
- Reporting progress and resolving on-site issues efficiently
Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a Sub Agent on civil engineering projects
- Strong background in trial holes / ground investigation
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to lead teams and work under pressure
- Relevant qualifications (HNC/HND/Degree in Civil Engineering or similar preferred)
