Long-Term Opportunity on Major Southern Water Project

Danny Sullivan Group is currently recruiting for an experienced CSCS Concrete Finisher to join a major, long-term infrastructure project at Budds Farm, Havant. This role is based on Southern Water's £1.3 billion Hampshire Water Transfer and Water Recycling Project, one of the UK's largest water infrastructure investments. The project involves the construction of a new advanced water recycling plant at Budds Farm, helping secure future water supplies across Hampshire.

Rate of Pay: £16.84 per hour (PAYE)

Your Role as a CSCS Concrete Finisher:

  • Carry out all aspects of concrete finishing to a high standard
  • Level, smooth, and finish freshly poured concrete using hand and power tools
  • Apply surface finishes, trowelling, edging, and jointing techniques as required
  • Assist with placing, compacting, and curing concrete
  • Work from drawings and follow site specifications to achieve quality finishes
  • Repair and patch concrete where necessary
  • Work closely with site supervisors and the wider construction team to meet programme deadlines
  • Maintain a clean and safe working area at all times
  • Report any defects, hazards, or quality concerns immediately
  • Adhere to all site health, safety, and environmental procedures

What We're Looking For as a CSCS Concrete Finisher:

  • Valid CSCS Card (essential)
  • Confined Space Certificate
  • Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher on construction or civil engineering projects
  • Experience with all aspects of concrete finishing, including power float and hand finishing techniques
  • SEQOHS Safety Critical Medical (preferred)
  • Good understanding of site health and safety requirements
  • Reliable, hardworking, and proactive attitude
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a busy site team
