A leading UK tier-one civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Site Agent to support delivery of major infrastructure and environmental improvement schemes across Devon and Cornwall. The business delivers large-scale flood defence, pumping station and water infrastructure projects in partnership with government environmental bodies and water authorities. They are currently entering the next phase of a long-term regional framework with several schemes underway and more planned.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing project documentation, programmes and reporting.
- Supporting pre-construction activities and early project planning.
- Leading and coordinating Ground Investigation (GI) works.
- Liaising with design teams, subcontractors and stakeholders.
- Ensuring works are delivered safely and in line with programme and quality standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Agent on civil engineering projects.
- Strong document control and technical writing skills.
- Experience with environmental agency, flood defence or water infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of pre-construction processes and site delivery.
Projects Include
- Pumping station upgrades.
- Flood defence and tidal infrastructure.
- Dam and water management schemes.
