Danny Sullivan Group is currently recruiting for experienced 360 Operators to join ongoing projects across the Colchester, Essex and Ipswich, Suffolk Water region. This is a long-term opportunity working on key infrastructure, utilities, and civil engineering projects.
Your Role as a 360 Operator
- Operate 360 Excavators safely and efficiently on water and civil engineering projects
- Carry out excavation works for drainage, service ducting, utilities, and infrastructure installations
- Perform trenching, grading, backfilling, and reinstatement works as required
- Work closely with groundworkers and site management to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently
- Conduct daily plant checks and report any defects or maintenance requirements
- Follow lift plans, excavation permits, and site-specific RAMS where applicable
- Work safely around live services, existing utilities, and other plant machinery
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with site health & safety procedures
- Report hazards, unsafe conditions, and near misses immediately
What We're Looking For as a 360 Operator
- Valid CPCS Blue Card or NPORS Card with CSCS Logo for 360 Excavator
- Previous experience operating 360 Excavators on utilities, water, groundwork, or civil engineering projects
- Good understanding of excavation safety and working around underground services
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced site environment
- Strong commitment to health, safety, and quality standards
- Reliable, hardworking, and professional attitude
- Full UK driving licence beneficial due to various site locations
