An established Tier 1 building services contractor is seeking an experienced MEP Commercial Manager to lead the commercial delivery of a major flagship London-based development involving shell and core and fit out. This position will hold overall commercial responsibility for the project, leading the commercial team while working closely with the board of directors to ensure successful financial and contractual delivery throughout the full project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the commercial management of a major MEP package
- Manage and develop the project commercial team
- Oversee cost reporting, forecasting and commercial performance
- Manage procurement strategy and subcontract administration
- Lead change control, variations and commercial negotiations
- Ensure contractual compliance and effective risk management
- Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
- Support successful project delivery through to final account
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience operating as a Commercial Manager or Senior Commercial Manager within the building services sector
- Strong track record delivering major mechanical and electrical projects
- Previous experience working for Tier 1 contractors or leading M&E contractors
- Strong contractual, financial and leadership capability
- Degree qualified or equivalent preferred
