Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 + Package
Reporting to the Project Director, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of Mechanical and Electrical construction activities on large-scale projects, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal project teams to coordinate all aspects of site delivery from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day delivery of Mechanical and Electrical construction activities on site.
- Lead and coordinate site managers, supervisors and specialist MEP subcontractors.
- Ensure all works are delivered safely, on programme and in accordance with project specifications.
- Chair site coordination, progress and subcontractor meetings.
- Monitor project progress and implement recovery plans where required.
- Drive quality assurance processes, inspections, snagging and defect resolution.
- Oversee commissioning activities and support successful project handovers.
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation, company procedures and CDM Regulations.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Construction Manager, Senior Site Manager or MEP Manager.
- Strong knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health services.
- Excellent leadership and subcontractor management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- SMSTS qualification.
- First Aid qualification (desirable).
